하미드 아왈루딘 인도네시아 법무 장관은 13일 이같이 밝히고, 지난 2002년 202명의 목숨을 앗아간 발리 폭탄 공격과 관련해 복역중인 24명중 대부분의 형량도 또한 감형될 것이라고 말했습니다.
오는 17일의 인도네시아 독립 60주년을 맞아 실시되는 이 사면에서 사형이나 종신 징역형에 직면하고 있는 5명의 폭탄 테러범은 제외됩니다.

Militant Muslim cleric Abu Bakar Bashir, who is serving a 30-month sentence in Indonesia for instigating the Bali bombings, will have his sentence reduced under an amnesty program.
Justice Minister Hamid Awaluddin says (today / Saturday) sentences also will be reduced for most of the 24 others jailed for their roles in the 2002 attacks that killed 202 people on the resort island. The amnesty does not apply to five of the Bali bombers -- those who are facing the death penalty or serving life prison sentences.
Clemency for prisoners is part of celebrations honoring Indonesia's 60th Independence Day on Wednesday.
Minister Hamid says the amnesty also will benefit Tommy Suharto, currently serving a 10-year prison term for killing a judge. The youngest son of former dictator Suharto already has benefited from an earlier ruling that reduced his original 15-year sentence.
