유럽의 제안은 이란에게 핵 무기 계획의 일환으로 의심되는 우라늄 변환과 농축을 중단하라고 촉구하고 있습니다. 그 대신 유럽 연합은 이란에게 연료와 교역, 투자뿐 아니라 정치적 기술적 협력을 다짐했습니다.
이란은 자체 핵 계획이 에너지 생산을 위한 평화적인 목적이라고 주장하면서 곧 우라늄 처리를 재개할 것이라고 말하고 있습니다.
프랑스의 필립 두스트 블라지 외무장관은 5일, 이란이 이성적인 목소리에 귀를 귀울이고 핵 활동을 재개하지 않기를 기대한다고 말했습니다.
국제 원자력 기구는 오는 9일 회의를 열고 이란 문제를 논의할 예정입니다.

Iran is reviewing proposals offered by the European Union aimed at ending a long-running standoff over its nuclear program.
The proposals were delivered today (Friday) by the ambassadors of Britain, France and Germany. An Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said his country would study the proposals for one or two days and issue a response "soon."
The European plan calls on Iran to end uranium conversion and enrichment, which are suspected to be part of a nuclear weapons program.
In exchange, the E.U. pledges Iran fuel, trade and investment as well as political and technological cooperation.
Iran insists its nuclear program is used for the peaceful purpose of energy generation and has said it will soon resume uranium processing.
French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy said today (Friday) he hopes Iran will hear the voice of reason and not resume nuclear activities.
The International Atomic Energy Agency will meet Tuesday to discuss Iran.
