인도는 26일 또 한 차례의 단거리 지대공 미사일 시험발사에 성공했습니다. 이날 시험발사는 동부 해안지역인 오릿사주의 주 시험발사 센터인 찬디푸르에서 이뤄졌습니다.
이번에 시험발사된 미사일은 트리슐로 알려진 고체연료 추진 미사일로 최고 15kg 무게의 탄두를 적재하고 사거리는 9km 이상이며, 항공기와 바다표면으로 발사되는 미사일을 타격할 수 있습니다.
핵 보유국인 인도와 파키스탄은 정기적으로 자신들의 미사일 시스템에 대한 시험을 실시하는데 통상 상대방에게 사전에 통보를 하고 있습니다.

India has successfully test-fired another short-range surface-to-air missile.
Today's (Tuesday's) test was conducted at the country's main testing center at Chandipur in the eastern coastal state of Orissa.
The solid fuel-propelled missile -- known as Trishul -- can carry a warhead up to 15-kilograms and has a range of more than nine kilometers. It is capable of targeting aircraft and sea-skimming missiles.
Nuclear-capable India and Pakistan routinely carry out tests of their missile systems, usually giving each other advance notice.
