미국 관계관들은, 북한 길주에서 터널 굴착 공사가 벌어지고 관람대가 축조되고 있음을 첩보 위성들이 보여주고 있다고 말하고, 북한이 핵실험을 준비 중에 있을 지도 모른다고 경고하고 있습니다.
미국의 스티븐 하들리 국가안보보좌관은 15일 미국 폭스 텔레비전에 출연해 핵실험은 도전 행위가 될 것이며 미국과 미국 동맹국들로 하여금 북한 정부에 응징할 새로운 조치들을 논의하도록 만들 것이라고 말했습니다.
북한은 그들에 대한 제재를 전쟁 선포로 간주할 것이라고 경고하고 있습니다.

A top Japanese official is calling for U.N. economic sanctions against North Korea if Pyongyang tests a nuclear device.
Shinzo Abe, acting secretary general of Japan's ruling Liberal Democratic Party, said today (Sunday) that it would be "unthinkable" for Tokyo to do nothing should North Korea conduct such a test.
U.S. officials have warned that North Korea may be preparing for a nuclear test, citing satellite photos they say show suspicious activity near the coastal town of Kilju.
Interviewed on the television program "Fox News Sunday," U.S. National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley said a nuclear test would be an act of defiance, and prompt Washington and its allies to discuss new steps to punish the North Korean government.
North Korea has warned that it will consider any sanctions imposed against it a declaration of war.
