이 관리는 또, 중국 대학에 유학하기 원하는 타이완 학생들의 수업료를 낮추고 본토에서 일하길 원하는 타이완인들의 취업 조건을 완화할 것이라고 말했습니다.
이같은 발표는 '양안일중(兩岸一中)'이란 형식하에 새로운 대화를 하자는 후진타오 중국 주석의 제의를 타이완의 천 수이벤 총통이 거부한지 하룻만에 나왔습니다.

China's top policy-maker on Taiwan has offered to ease restrictions on contacts between the two sides.
The official Xinhua news agency quoted Chen Yunlin, director of the Taiwan Affairs Office, as saying today (Friday) that the mainland will make it easier for Taiwan businessmen to travel to and from Taiwan.
He also offered to cut tuition of students from Taiwan at Chinese universities and ease job conditions for Taiwanese who want to work on the mainland.
The comments came a day after Taiwan President Chen Shui-bian rejected a new offer from his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao to reopen talks based on a two-sides, one-China" formula.
