What does it mean to pig out? Let’s find out, but first we will listen to today’s conversation. Listen carefully.

Pig Out
Alice: Jason! You did it! You finished the city marathon!
Jason: Thanks Alice! It was definitely a rewarding experience. Now that the race is over, I can finally pig out at the buffet restaurant.
Alice: I’m sure you’ll want to pig out, so enjoy!

Alice가 “Jason! You did it! You finished the city marathon! It was definitely a rewarding experience. Now that the race is over, I can finally pig out at the buffet restaurant. Alice도 “I’m sure you’ll want to pig out, so enjoy!

Now keep today’s expression ‘pig out’ in mind and let’s hear the conversation again.

Pig Out

Today’s expression is pig out. Pig out means to eat too much of something.

In today’s conversation Jason seems to be starving after running a marathon. He tells Alice that he is ready to pig out. So Jason is about to overindulge in food or drink. “Now that the race is over, I can finally pig out at the buffet restaurant.”

Now let me give you some example sentences using today’s expression. “Wow! This pizza and hamburger looks delicious. I’m going to pig out!” Here is another example sentence. “I’m worried for Josh because he always pigs out.” Now that you know what today’s expression means, let’s listen to the conversation for the last time.
