Hi, this is Jennifer Yoo with ENGLISH WITH YOO! 안녕하세요 English with Yoo!

Before we find out what today’s expression means, let’s listen to a conversation I had with Jason. Listen carefully.

Look out!
Jason: Jen! Look out! There’s a speed bump!
Jen: Oh! You’re right! I’ll slow down. Phew! Thanks for letting me know. I didn’t even see it.
Jason: It’s okay. Just be careful next time. This neighborhood has a lot of speed bumps.

Look out! There’s a speed bump! Jen! You’re right! I’ll slow down. Phew! Thanks for letting me know. I didn’t even see it. 이어 Jason이 “It’s okay. Just be careful next time. This neighborhood has a lot of speed bumps. Now keep today’s expression ‘look out!’ in mind and let’s hear the conversation again.

You can either yell out this expression in an urgent situation or you can say it casually in a non-urgent situation. ‘Look out’은 조심하라는 뜻이죠, be careful, watch out’도 같은 의미입니다. “Jen!
