In addition, when someone is parting with another person, they can say “take it easy”, which would be an informal farewell. Take it easy 는 여러 가지 뜻이 있고 상황에 따라서 다르게 쓰입니다. 마음을 편안하게 하다, 어떤 일을 쉬엄쉬엄 하다, 또는 여유를 갖고 천천히 하다. 라고 말할 때 쓸 수 있고요 누군가가 흥분할 때 take it easy’라고 하면 ‘진정해’라는 뜻이됩니다. 그리고 대화 끝에 ‘take it easy’라고 하면 ‘잘 가, 잘 있어, 또 만나자’ 같은 인사말이 되고요.
