Pain in the neck
Jody: I heard your office hired a new guy. How is he?
Daniel: He is a pain in the neck. He is always late to meetings and he never gets his work done on time.
Jody: Oh really? I don’t think he’s going to last too long.
Daniel: Actually, I don’t think he’ll ever get fired. His father is the president of our company.
Jody: Oh?
Daniel: Yes.

Jody가 친구 Daniel에게 “I hear your office hired a new guy. How is he? 라고 묻자 Daniel은 “He is a pain in the neck. I don’t think he’s going to last too long. 그러자 Daniel이 “Actually, I don’t think he’ll ever get fired.
