오늘의 영어 표현은: Bump up the price입니다.
Prices are being bumped up daily and it can really impact you! I spoke with Sienna and she is not happy about her apartment management because they are bumping up her rent.

Bump up the price
Sienna: I’m a good tenant. I pay my rent on time.
Jen: My friend, I know that she doesn’t want to renew her apartment lease because the apartment management is bumping up the rent a lot!
Sienna: Yeah, that’s what they did.
Jen: Almost $100.

그래서 제가 “My friend, I know that she doesn’t want to renew her apartment lease because the apartment management is bumping up the rent a lot!

오늘의 영어 표현 bump up the price / bump up the price이죠?

To bump up means to raise or increase. And the phrase ‘to bump up the price’ is used mainly for prices or other figures. For example, ‘Oil-producing nations decided to bump up the price of oil.’

To bump up / bump / B U M P / to bump up 은 ‘(~)을 올리다’ 라는 뜻이죠, 그레서 ‘to bump up the price’는 ‘가격을 올리다’ 라는 뜻입니다.
